I am and have been known by many names, but you may call me Lore! You are free to use they/them or fae/faer pronouns for me.I am a collector, teller, and weaver of stories. A curator as well as a creator, if you will.I engage in a lot of different creative mediums as well as play various kinds of games on Twitch when I'm not working on my PhD or advocacy work.
I believe firmly that we owe it to ourselves and others to care about and take care of each other in the ways we can, and that we often can do more than we think.

This page is to give you a bit more detail on me, what I do online/off, and my general background!Streaming: What to ExpectOn stream I do a mix of video games, co-working, and digital art. I also host a semi-monthly media discussion where I talk about what I've read/watched/played during the last month and take suggestions.I'm a member of the Collab Hub and the Wear Your Stripes stream team.OfflineWhen not streaming, I am active in my community, finishing a PhD, and working on my own creative projects. What all of what looks like can vary week to week, but here’s an idea of each:
PhD: My work is on disability and health care, to describe it broadly. More specifically I work on issues like patient-physician communication, knowledge sharing, and disabled patients having a trusting space to share their knowledge in the patient-physician relationship without fear of being misunderstood or dismissed entirely. For other philosophers: I work within feminist epistemology, specifically epistemic injustice, and philosophy of disability.
Community: I do my best to be active in my local communities, especially queer spaces where I can assist with advocating for other disabled queer folks. I volunteer at a local 2sLGBTQIA+ community centre helping with various events and tasks. Every month I run a book club that focuses on queer stories, themes, and authors. Outside of this community organization, I sing with a queer choir, run a small writing group with some folks in the choir, and assist with the choir’s social medias.
Creative Projects: I am a writer, traditional artist, and digital artist. I have a number of projects on the works currently including some short comics, a potential novel/novella, and a collection of poetry. I might share progress on these from time to time, but many won’t be shown until done!
Other Hobbies: I have more hobbies than I probably should. I knit and enjoy hands-on crafts. I’m an avid TTRPG player and GM with nearly 20 years of experience with various editions of DnD, Vampire the Requiem, Vampire the Masquerade, homebrew, and indie games like Lancer and iHunt. I also enjoy board games (especially collaborative ones), video games (especially ones that have a solid story or puzzle to them), and of course reading (with a preference for speculative fiction and fantasy).
BackgroundI’m a trans*, gender queer, demi-sexual/pan-romantic, chronically ill and half-blind white person from what is currently known as Canada. I have experience living at and below the poverty line. I’m considered a first generation student, which means that before me no one in my immediate family had a university education. I currently have a BA in English Literature & Creative Writing and Philosophy, an MA in Philosophy, and soon a PhD in Applied Philosophy.
